You Know You're a Teacher When...

Today I consolidated some stuff in my room and was left with FIVE empty crates!  I brought three of them home and plan to make crate seats with them.

When I got home, I went to hose them off outside.

My hose has a dial with settings like rinse, power wash, drizzle, etc...

Well... one of them made me laugh my self silly in the middle of my driveway so I'm sure everyone who happened to be driving by thought I was a complete nut.

But, one of the settings is "bucket filler".  So, naturally, the dork teacher in me said "HAHAHAHA!  My hose is a bucket filler!".

Wow.

Enjoy the laugh on me on this HOT HOT Monday!

  3. Let me know if the file crates turn out well...I've thought about trying them, but wondering if it was worth it all. Especially as I know my Kinders will try to fall off of them...a lot.

  9. That is so funny!! I went to Dollar Tree to get some fly swatters for my class to slap on a shower curtain to spell or read words and they had ones that I swear are like three feet long...I just laughed and laughed picturing my firsties using these! (Definately will have to set some serious "rules" with them). Only teachers... gotta love us!!!

  11. Haha, I have soooo many storage containers too. And pocket charts for that matter. I just know I will need all of them one day and can't get rid of them.
